The branding for CoMotion 2018 invites students and motion design professionals alike into a world of fantasy that celebrates the playful creativity of youth, which we continue to cultivate in our designs and animations every day. Through imagination, even the simplest of shapes can become anything, so as designers we are much like adult children. Calling all saddles for the 2019 FireFlies New York ride, pedaling from upstate NY to Manhattan from the 7th to 13th of September.

We ride to help beat blood cancer. We ride for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Bloodwise to aid in their search for a cure. Our 2019 goal is to raise $2,500 per rider.

Inspired by the courage it takes to fight cancer, The FireFlies is a celebration of life, love and friendship. Bicycles are involved, but so are tears, laughter, mountains, ice-creams, reggae music and uncommon amounts of joy.

The revolution for a well-designed life is knowing yourself. As Aristotle said “knowing your- self is the beginning of all wisdom.” self-revolution and fulfillment come from knowing who we are and who we want be. We can’t experience joy and connection without knowing our- selves. We only develop intimacy when we know our authentic selves and have the confidence to share it with others.

A deep and confident self-awareness comes from within, from a regular process of self-re- flection. Through reflection, we begin to recognize our thoughts and emotions and under- stand what drives us. but reflection isn’t easy. it involves dedication to awareness and knowing what to do when left alone with your thoughts. It also requires ignoring the alluring call of technology and a culture that glorifies busyness.

I try to convey this concept through a poem by Christy Ann Martine. The poem is an appeal to empower self-caring and independent young women to know themselves and discover their purpose through a daily practice of self-reflection.

Framestore mission is to recreate designs by using the iconic elements for some of their movies such Dumbo 2019 and Blade Runner 2017.

Test-Tube is following 3 goals.

1. Leverage the skills and passions of the current design team to create fresh design collaboration that attracts great work and talent.

2. Use minimum viable product model that can be quickly iterated and completed in design department and fit comfortably with the movies nature.

3. craft the concept to cross-pollinate with VR, GG, motion design and labs department.
